Become a Volunteer Wildland FireFighter!The BBVVFD wants you to become a volunteer wildland firefighter.

The Big Bend Valley Volunteer Fire Department holds its regularly scheduled meeting on the second Wednesday of every month at 5:00pm CDT at the BBVVFD Fire Hall located at 321 Legion Road, just east of Terlingua American Legion Post 653 and just off Texas Highway 118. Our meetings are open to the public, the location is easy to find, and parking is never a problem.

Help us protect the people and properties of the Big Bend Valley and Terlingua Ranch. If you are a U.S. citizen, resident of Brewster County Texas, at least 18 years of age and in good health, the BBVVFD invites you to download our recruiting form or submit the form below, attend our next meeting and learn what it takes to become a trained volunteer wildland firefighter!
